Major hugs. And yes, I am into the diapering brigade again, but there is one heck of a difference between from changing a diaper of a baby to a fragile adult. Yes, it is a labor of love, but on the one hand, there is joy and the other ... only a progression into the end.

It takes a very special person to dedicate themselves to this life. You are amazing in every way.

That's kind of you to say, but it is about love. And loving my mother, I can't see doing anything differently. I couldn't live with myself otherwise. So in that, it's perfectly selfish. As my wise friend, Lisa, has also said, "Our parents have raised us to be exactly who they needed late in life." :-)
