Yeah, that's true. It's like you are leaving the light for the tunnel and looking back one last time. Why is that? The angle of the light?
Maybe because the light doesn't reach the photographer's feet it feels like the viewer is lying in wait for something as oppossed to leaving somewhere. And despite the color and light, there is a menace to it that I think is unintended.
