Things that made me happy meme - Day Two

Things that made me happy: organization and good food
Cleaning doesn't make me happy, but the results do. I finally got a corner of my bedroom cleaned up that's been cluttered for a couple of months, and I got my work table more organized, too. It made me feel so much better.
And last night, we roasted a small pork loin very simply, basting it in balsamic vinegar. When the thermometer hit 180 it was done—juicy and tender and delicious. We had a cranberry sauce with it which made it over-the-top good, black-eyed peas for New Year's luck, and sinfully cheesy julienned potatoes. So delicious. As was the Dreyer's Slow-Churned French Silk ice cream we had some time later: creamy swirls of chocolate and vanilla with large chunks of mocha chips. It all made me very, very happy.
