This can never happen happen again
Feb. 17th, 2009 09:21 amRandom quote of the day:
"Anything that occurs once can never occur again. But, should it happen twice, it will surely happen a third time."
—Paul Coelho, The Valkyries
Well. The source for the above version of this quote is Paul Coelho's own blog. But it has also been widely attributed to Mr. Coelho's novel, The Alchemist, in a slightly different version: "Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time." I'm sure there's something cosmic going on here—unless it's just a case of Mr. Coelho repeating himself. Lord knows, that's never happen, ever, in any writer's body of work. Unless it happens a third time, of course.

Disclaimer: The views expressed in this random quote of the day do not necessarily reflect the views of the poster, her immediate family, Siegfried and Roy, Leonard Maltin, or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. They do, however, sometimes reflect the views of the Cottingley Fairies.
