I got mugged by a story late last week and have been working on that instead of the nouvelle.

Another significant milestone: my WRITING folder surpassed 1 GB today. To some of you that may not seem like much, but to me it was a real wowzer moment.

lol--thanks, hon, but I'm obsessive about backing up. Like, every time I make even a minor change into any file, I not only save it but copy it onto the datasticks backing up my entire harddisk, sometimes in two different places. I lost a lot of data at one point, so it's made me paranoid.

(That's how I realized the writing folder had surpassed 1 gig. It wouldn't fit on the 1 GB datastick anymore.)
