Oh man, I had such a crush on Joel. It was just all kinds of fun. I met many fine friends through rec.arts.sf.mst3k and the ConventioCons, and got into MOOing and MUDding, and all that weirdness led to lots of creativity.
I appreciated Joel a whole bunch, but I was crushing on Mike. I never did the fan thing, more's the pity, but my friends and I used to watch en masse and split a gut on a regular basis. So much fun!
