In case anyone wonders

1. I will not be linking this journal to my Twitter account. I don't have a Facebook account.

2. I will, therefore, not be sharing your information with the Twitterverse.

3. I will not necessarily look kindly on anyone sharing my information with either Twitter or Facebook. I realize I can't control this, but it would not make me happy.

4. There is no fourth thing.

5. But there is a fifth thing. I just can't think what it is at the moment.

I have also disabled this invasive feature. I am on Facebook and Twitter and I can't see any advantage of linking these three up. I can't see much beyond a huge invasion of privicy, which I will do nothing to encourage and in which, I most certainly do not want to participate.

So there! Glares at those responsible.

Gah! Just noticed the little check boxes at the bottom of this to make it possible to repost. I now has to go check to see if I have these on mine after I disabled the thing. Grumbles.

If they're grayed out (as mine are) you can't check them, so I don't think there's a problem. I hope not!

You certainly don't have the problem people have complained of -- tab, enter will not check it off but take you right to the post button.

If you're not logged in to FB or Twitter through LJ -- if you haven't linked the accounts -- then they're going to be grayed out.

But they're not necessarily grayed out for someone else who has connected their accounts.
