Dude, I would have thought I was much weirder and certainly more peculiar. I scoff at their designation of convention. Bah, I say!
(Bonus points to whoever gets the movie reference in the subject line.)
So, pjthompson, your LiveJournal reveals...

You are... 1% unique and 11% herdlike
(partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy writing).
When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please.
Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.
You are weirder than 72% of other LJers.)
Find out what your weirdness level is!

Date: 2007-06-05 02:30 am (UTC)Ah, computers. Gotta love 'em. But I read the post through for damage control and I have to say... I'm pretty happy that I have nothing but good things to say about people I've worked with and people I'll soon work with. (Sorry for posting here in case I'm off topic--you can feel free to delete. Just wanted to thank you for giving me the heads-up so quickly.)
But just for the record... I think weirdness is good. I've never met a boring person who wrote a great novel. On the other hand, I'm not sure I'd want to agent a writer who was in the top 2% of weird, you know? (Then again... maybe....)

Since I'm 39% weird, I concur completely. And about the top 2 percent, too. Good luck with your new situation!

You're quite welcome. You've always seemed like a straight shooter to me and I wanted to give you the heads up.
