Dude, I would have thought I was much weirder and certainly more peculiar. I scoff at their designation of convention. Bah, I say!

(Bonus points to whoever gets the movie reference in the subject line.)

So, pjthompson, your LiveJournal reveals...

You are... 1% unique and 11% herdlike
(partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy writing).
When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are keen to please.

Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.

Your overall weirdness is: 39

(The average level of weirdness is: 31.
You are weirder than 72% of other LJers.)

Find out what your weirdness level is!

Hmm... the line sounds familiar, but dangit I can't recall the movie.

Okay, that's one I definitely haven't seen... but it fits Irons' voice perfectly.

Lion King!

I should totally get half points for that, since the Lion King line is an in-joke reference to Reversal of Fortune.

And besides, that line is said in response to direct accusations of weirdness, not just strangeness. :)

He did!

Yay half point!

*boogies*

(That's not sad, is it? Is it?)

Dammit. I know that reference. I want to say it's from Ghostbusters, but that still doesn't feel right.

weirdness... sign me up

Well, considering the post I just put up was supposed to be my friends only list (aka my clients only) from a private community (that defaults to a friends-only setting) and ended up going out to the world from my journal instead (which defaults to public) (and took about 1/2 hour to remove thanks to my computer crashing out right when I realized where I'd posted it) my weirdness factor could have just gone up a bit. Thanks for noting it -- it's down now. So you know my news a couple days early (along with my clients and any other of my regular blog readers who happened to check my blog around 7:45 p.m. EST.) : )

Ah, computers. Gotta love 'em. But I read the post through for damage control and I have to say... I'm pretty happy that I have nothing but good things to say about people I've worked with and people I'll soon work with. (Sorry for posting here in case I'm off topic--you can feel free to delete. Just wanted to thank you for giving me the heads-up so quickly.)

But just for the record... I think weirdness is good. I've never met a boring person who wrote a great novel. On the other hand, I'm not sure I'd want to agent a writer who was in the top 2% of weird, you know? (Then again... maybe....)

You're quite welcome. You've always seemed like a straight shooter to me and I wanted to give you the heads up.

Since I'm 39% weird, I concur completely. And about the top 2 percent, too. Good luck with your new situation!
