Further update
Sep. 16th, 2011 05:21 pmMom's stroke was worse than they at first thought, so she's still in the hospital. But the good news still holds: she's herself, communicating without difficulty, no paralysis, etc. She's still only showing signs of having the visual impairment in her left field of vision and peripheral vision. I've been going to the hospital several times a day to help her with her dialysis, so we'd both like to get her home. Her because she's sick of the hospital, me because I'm exhausted. But they have to be sure she's on the mend before she comes home.
Thanks so much for all your well wishes. I appreciate it a great deal.
