I love this quote! This is *so* like me. I keep trying to be responsible and busy and force myself to write every day at the same time... but I am beginning to suspect that I just don't work all that well like that. When I try too hard, the ideas fall to pieces. When I step back and breathe, they build amazing scenes.

One of the hardest things we have to figure out as writers is what our own writing system is. Nobody can figure it out for us because each writer is unique despite the universality of experience. We just have to keep trying stuff until something clicks into place and helps us produce.
