Of geese and mantras

Lovely sight of the day:
A squadron of six or seven sleek, silvery wild geese flying southeast over 83rd Avenue just before I turned on Lincoln Boulevard. They must have spent the night in the wetlands, just down the hill from 83rd and Lincoln.
Random quote of the day:
"Everything stinks until it's finished."
—Theodor Geisel
(a.k.a. Dr. Seuss)
A first draft mantra if ever there was one.
