RIP Madeleine L'Engle. My heart and imagination owe you so much.

I read a wrinkle in time and liked it well enough. I still remember specific scenes and images, these years later. The story wasn't my cup of tea, but I still knew it was a good book.

I must've been 10 or 11. At the time, I thought the book was written for girls -- which had a big "eeewwww" factor for me. I still finished the book.

I've never read anything of hers, but I think I might have to now, just because she was important to so many people I know.
