I've been trying to travel over all my birthdays since I turned 25. That year, I went to Paris and drove all over France and the Benelux countries. At 26, I went to New York City. At 27...well, I went to El Paso. Which was not exciting, but hey! I wasn't at "home". That was also the last time I got raucously drunk before I got pregnant (can you tell by that statement which of the tickies I ticked? ;). This year, I'm not going to be traveling exactly on my birthday, but we're going back to NYC for a friends' wedding in October, and I've told Alex that I'm counting that as my birthday expedition. ;) I love NYC.

BTW, have you ever been to Mickey's Dining Car? They featured it on Feasting On Asphalt the other night.
My bday's the 27th. One of my friend's is on the 22nd as well. They're planning something for him, but I have yet to hear word of MY party. I mean, c'mon people! ;)
And yeah, I've been to Mickey's Dining Car. It's down the street (more or less) from the Science Museum, so we went there the day we went to the museum. It's a nice greasy spoon. ;)
