wary eye. After years of
feeding him he still
keeps distant, unbelieving

Smart crow.

Scary smart. I was reading this fascinating thing about how crows have superb facial recognition ability and if you do something mean to them, they will not only remember for the rest of their lives and shun you but will pass this info on to their children and grandchildren who will also shun you.
