Day one, week two – tanka*

Shadow of wings fly
the sun path from the window.
Outside, crows caw, gulls
pipe, finches chitter while all
gather at my bird feeder.

The different verbs are so right for the different bird sounds--and I love "shadow of wings," and the illustrating photo.
