AGREED.

Too many choices is the modern dystopia.

This is very true in my case, at least. Too many choices can be paralyzing, and limitations, which might seem restricting, actually encourage a start, which then can push at the limits or rearrange them. :P

Absolutely. I think that's why there aren't any trust fund babies who are great artists—with the possible exception of Gloria Vanderbilt. She had enough family trauma with her trust fund to prime the pump. I won't go with the old cliché that suffering is necessary to be an artist, but I do think you have to have something to overcome in order to fuel it.
