...this is how I feel, too. I nearly said on Twitter: I wish I had it in my power to keep everyone safe from this terrifying illness. ... And then I didn't say it, because I know we're mortal creatures who all must die at some point. ... But I wish it was possible to keep everyone safe from dying of this, right now.

I know. I was thinking of that saying, "Every time an old person dies the library of Alexandria burns down all over again." But not just old people. Everyone. It's a terrible way to go and our national leadership has been so horrific and careless.

Such a helpless feeling.
