Fairies, tra la!

I love this. Makes me proud to have Scots blood in me veins.
When the rapacious Westside developers were building a massive condo project in Playa Vista (formerly Hughes Aircraft buildings, runway, and protected wetlands), they disturbed an Indian burial ground. They unceremoniously threw the bones into a tool shed. I can only hope those condos are thoroughly haunted as a result.
Yes, that's vindictive of me--but these condos are hideous. We call one of the buildings The Prison, because that's what it looks like. The derelict Hughes buildings looked better.
Appropriately enough, this is the quote of the day:
"If we look at the path, we do not see the sky."
—Native American saying
Although when I posted this here today at work, one wag said, "I tried taking in the view instead of the path when I was hiking once and stepped on a rattler. Fortunately, I had thick boots on."
I hate it when logic intrudes upon a nice saying.
Disclaimer: The poster does not necessarily believe in fairies unless they happen to be listening, and then she believes in them—oh yes, she does. *claps hands* Much like what Mark Twain said: "I do not believe in ghosts, but I am afraid of them."
