Questions About Angels

All the questions meme-ing around LJ and the "Research Questions About Angels" thread on the OWW ML has me thinking about one of my favorite poets, Billy Collins.  Specifically, about his poem, "Questions About Angels."  I wanted to share it because one of the reasons I love Billy Collins is the way he takes something ordinary and makes it extraordinary; how he starts off talking about it and twists, turns, and winds up in a completely unanticipated place.  Real "ah!" moments.   

I found "Questions About Angels" a couple of places on the net, but I'm not sure Mr. Collins's copyright wasn't being infringed.  So I've stuck it behind a cut.  ( Read More )
