Good quote--makes my mind go in lots of directions. Probably first to people always wanting people to swear off anyone who ever did anything bad in their life (as if there was any of us who hasn't done something bad... I'm not talking about people who are consistently horrible about lots of things, but that gotcha mentality). But also how how anything wide and inspiring and beautiful--anything with those powerful characteristics--can be destructive... just good to remember.

Thank you for saying that. And yes, I was especially fond of that quote, for all the reasons you state. Also, in the divine realm, blaming every bad thing that happens on the divine when it's just the cycle of life. Or the abominable notion that when bad things happen to people it's karma when,again, it's just the cycle of life. No punishments, no rewards, just the wheel turning. Many profound implications in such a simple seeming sentence.
