This resonates so much, and she was such a brilliant writer. Although, I'd read fantasy before, A Wizard of Earthsea was the novel, which as a child, set me on the firm path of being a fantasy lover.

I read that as an adult, but it resonated with me. The books that made me a lifelong fantasy reader were Andre Norton's Witch World series. She was a very important writer for me.
