Considering the fact that we have only 5 major media giants and nearly everything else is a subsidiary thereof, and considering the fact that our president/presidential candidates and other political and economic figures of power have extremely large financial investments in the media industry, it is no wonder that they seem to report that which is more favorable to our government and fail to report on extremely unconstitutional directives coming directly from the White House. It is sad that in order to get accurate political news for the US, we usually have to go to international sources. Then again, our media giants are now buying those out as well.
It all comes down to the mighty dollar. Companies will report that which makes them the most money... especially when there are only five of them.
