I do wonder, though, if the well-known phenomena of researcher bias had some influence on the findings.

*smirk* I had to laugh when I read that. In some ways I agree, in others, I think there's more to it than that. I think a lot of it comes down to how well the boy knows the girl, how well they've verbally communicated what those nonverbal cues mean, and how well he remembers that. To be fair, it's only years after highschool that I finally figured out that some boys had actually been flirting with me. I'd been completely oblivious during the time. But then, I never was the sharpest crayon in the box when it came to people.
