See, this is closer to the way I picture Mother Earth than those ethereal sylphs or earth babes so popular with many artists. If Mother Earth takes on human form, she's going to be somebody large and in charge, capable of kicking some serious butt, and having her opinion heard. Ask the folks in Iowa or New Orleans. Mother Earth always has the last word.

I like that! large and in charge! My first tattoo is of mother earth, but she's pregnant with the world, so I guess she's still large and in charge!

You don't have to be nimble when you can crush somebody by sitting on them. Besides, she can morph into nimble and still outrun us if she has to.
