What an interesting comment. I'm amazed I've never come across it before. However, I should let you know that my Inner Editor is jumping up and down and screaming at the very thought. ;>

Oh, I'm definitely an "editor it later" type. After years of circling back and "making right" and stalling myself out, I finally learned to let go and realize zero drafts are supposed to be sh***y. I have learned to edit well—but I'm still learning.

I hate to admit it, but this is almost certainly a big factor in why my output is small and, at this point, consists only of short stories.
