You may have seen this widely attributed to Lord Byron on the 'net (or in one memorable instance to Lord George Gordon Byron). I even saw it attributed to Bill Lovejoy, whoever the frack that is. (I think he's one of those motivational speakers.) Thus is ever the peril of trusting in quotes found on the interdweebs.
