the best frosting is the kind that extends to the middle, or heart, of the cupcake. So when you sink your teeth into it, you continue to bite frosting all the way down. BTW, FYI, I have been known to finish half empty frosting containers left in the frig.

Cupcakes have just been discovered in Spain, and now they're the cool hip trendy thing. Honest. Also, toast with toppings is still the hot new tapa.

The big thing over here the last few years have been these cupcake stores with these ultimate cupcake extravaganzas. Cupcakes as works of pastry art! Quite amazing.
