I'm okay, just distracted. The surgery didn't start until this afternoon so won't know until this evening or tomorrow morning if my friend did okay. I told his wife (my other best friend) not to call me unless something went wrong because she's got too much on her plate right now. So, it's just waiting at the moment.

Well if she hasn't called, then hopefully that means everything is going okay. I know that waiting can be... trying, at best.

I'm fine, and my friend came through the surgery okay, so hopefully he's fine, too. :-)
