A serious blast from my past

stillnotbored. We saw Oingo Boingo several times at Madam Wong's in Chinatown here in L.A. back in the day. We used to go to live music as often as we could afford it, but of those groups, only a handful (that I know of) went on to bigger things. Danny Elfman, Dave Alvin, X. I'm sure there must have been others, but I didn't track them. Saw Iggy Pop a number of times during this run, but he's New York based, not L.A.
