Not for the faint of stomach.

Apparently, something attacked the possum we've had living in the garage. Raccoon, dog, cat, we don't know. She crawled into her sanctuary of the garage and tucked herself into a tight little spot, but apparently succumbed to her wounds. We weren't aware of this until the worst of the heatwave hit last week.

It took us three more days to locate exactly where in the garage that smell was coming from.

I'll let you imagine the rest.

I want to repeat this weekend again next week!

Ewww. How awful.

I hope the smell wasn't too difficult to get rid of once you removed the possum!

Yecch!

But I bet it was good experience for writing the discovering-the-gruesome-corpse scene in your next book.

You need to amend your warning to: " ... or for the faint of heart." It had me a little weepy, but then I'm still hormonal right now.
