At this point, another dimension is looking pretty good. At one point yesterday, the fans were going full tilt and there *still* wasn't any air. I was actually glad to get to work and into the air-conditioning. Now *that's* hot.

It's so hot that I wore a tank top in the movie theater (which is normally the Coldest Place on Earth.)

I don't think 112-degree weather was in my contract when I agreed to live in Cali.

Yeah, and what about the "but it's a dry heat" thing? I know 50-60 percent humidity is nothing compared with the Sacramento Valley or back east, but it's about 50-60 percent more then we're used to down thisaway.

And here the rest of us sit in Australia freezing our butts off in unseasonably cold weather.

I will cheerfully trade you one cold, rainy week for one of blisteringly hot weather.
