The five traces: holidays

The five traces of the holidays I see around me right now:

1. The white holidays lights draped across my cubicle and the multi-colored ones on my colleague's cubicle.

2. Christmas cards arrived in the company mail.

3. The Amazon gift certificate on my computer screen. Thank you!

4. An office door wrapped in Christmas paper with a big, gold bow.

5. The proliferation in my inbox of desperate SALE! spam from stores.

Four piles of presents I should have mailed a week ago, but didn't because of work.

Four piles of presents that will now be late.

And two cats in the box of wrapping paper.

Yes, I know that's six, but work with me here. ;P

And yes, kitties do love to "help" with Xmas, God(dess) love 'em.
