I'm just no fun nowadays. *sigh* I stayed home at the PC, wrote, etc. What did I wear? I live in San Antonio. I'm still wearing summer clothing. Shorts and T-shirt. It does get nippy here on occasions. Then I put on a pair of socks. ;-)
I prefer to stay home on NYE these days. And I live in L.A. so it never gets too cold. But despite the blue skies and sunshine on the Rose Parade this morning, it does get a bit nippy.
My best ceilidh outfit: dark red top with gold sequins, best dark blue skirt with little pleats let into the sides and blue embroidery; it swirls wonderfully. For dancing, black low heeled shoes that have soles that grip well; to go between the house and the hall, walking boots.
And for the mumming play: black trousers, long black cardie, my Border Morris top hat with tinsel round it and a black bag (I was the Doctor).
