I'm glad to say that drama queen Dr. Barry's predictions of screaming with pain did not come to pass. Mild pressure is about the worst I felt last night and this morning when I put the antibiotic eye drops in they didn't sting for the first time, so I thought that was a good sign. Dr. Barry confirmed this when I saw him at 10. The abasion is 70% healed over and no infection, so things are looking good. I'll continue the antibiotics through Monday and see him Tuesday.

But to add insult to injury I was hit with food poisoning last night. Not a pretty picture. The tummy is betterish this morning, but I plan to do a whole bunch of nothing for the rest of the day. I have no idea which mean caused it, since the roommate and I ate the same thing last night. However, I did read once that the results of food poisoning can hit you from one hour to thirty-six hours after ingesting the dicey food. So no telling what caused it.

Undie was not amused. "Eww. Gross. Stay away from me until you've been properly sanitized."

I've bounced back today pretty much. That was a weird 24 hours.

Yes, I stayed in my jammies and dosed in my chair, then went to bed and took off my jammies and slept a lot there.
