My new work space

Because I can refuse May nothing...my new work space...





This is the new space. As you can see, still plenty cluttered, especially the shelving behind it which is crammned with stuff I was just trying to get out of the way. Although I really like the angled desk and the divan up against it, I'm going to have to straighten it out and move the divan back because it crowds the rest of the room too much. But I have a really neat window and a bigger desk. Which is actually a desk and not a diningroom table.



And here's my divan simply because I am enamored of my knew slip cover and pillows. :-) I bought some crimson curtains to go with them, but haven't finished the alterations yet. The walls are eventually going to be a pale green. I am not afraid of color. :-)

I think it will be once I get things squared away. And I'm glad to be able to use that desk. It was too big for the other place and has been in storage for the last year.

I totally envy your workspace. I sit at the kitchen table, and my crap is scattered through three rooms.

I miss being a kid and having my own room.

Before this I had my diningroom table set up to work, crammed at the foot of my bed, and was using a cafe-sized table to dine on. So I'm pretty happy for that aspect of the change.
