Workspace montage

Because I'm a lemming, here's a repost of my work space.



I wish I could say the background's been cleaned up a bit more since this was taken, but it kinda hasn't. But at least I got new curtains:







Having the window there is nice when it's raining and I can look out at the small strip of grass between this house and the next, but it's too bright when the sun's out so I have to leave the shades pulled. But that's all right because I have these windows opposite me:



New curtains here, too. And when they're open I can see my collection of Zuni fetishes:



And when I stand beside them and look outside, I see this:



Too bad I forgot to clean the window.

That's a very nice set up! Not quite as cozy as your first one, but still... a nice place to work!

It is--and actually feels much cosier to me than the last one. Windows. I can't tell you how nice it is to have windows to look out of while I write.

okay, that's the difference in opinions, then.... I like a nice, dark nook where the outside distractions are nil. The more closed in, the better. (Maybe I'll try a closet some day...)

Weeell, I have to admit, I see no difference between the first photo of your workspace and the one you posted some time ago. :)

But your place is so cozy! I like the new curtains. I have a table cloth in the exact same colour. Is that sparkly stuff on them?

Thanks! I love that color, and yes, that's sparklies. I'll try to post a closeup view if I have time.

Very nice. Most of those are way too clean for me, though. I find I like having a lot of junk around to stimulate my imagination or to just contemplate while I think.
