Yes! He really nailed it, what this country is really about and how demagogues like Gingrich and Palin are trying to milk this for their own cynical political ends. This morning there was a great piece on NPR about this. Even Karl Rove is uncomfortable with Republicans using this. I can only hope the American public is smart enough to cotton to the abuse.

One thing about Bush is that he never blamed the Muslim world and all Muslims for 9/11. He was very careful to lay it where it justly belonged: at the feet of extremists and terrorists.
