I didn't think some of his early stuff was all that bad, and of course now he's hilarious and charming. That overblown Trek style worked in the sixties. Far worse actors then he managed to eke out a career in the Bombastic Years. But yeah...*bombastic*...

I'm a Shatner fan in the same way that I'm a Gene Simmons fan. Eveyone hates those two guys (at least everyone who has had to work with them), but I love'em both.

Have you ever seen Kingdom of the Spiders? Or even worse...Night of the Lepus (killer rabbits) with DeForest Kelly?

Except apparently Nimoy. what I like about Shatner in his present incarnation is how much he laughs at himself.
