I have slimmed the abominable, overblown synopsis for Night Warrior on the OWW waaaaaaaay the hell down. It has links to the more comprehensive synopsis, but I hope this version is less intimidating.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those pesky organic writers. Outlines don't work at all for me. I have to get to know the characters, do the worldbuilding, figure out the end--but it doesn't work if I've got too specific of an idea what goes on between point A and point Z.
It would be easier if I could outline and plot it out like that, but every time I've tried it's killed the impetus to write the story. (Because I've discovered that I'm telling myself the story as much as anything else, and once it's told, I lose interest.) (Which is a separate issue from rewrites.)
