Was McCain always this big of an a***ole?

He played a good game there for awhile, even had me thinking he might be all right, but ever since he got down on his knees in front of the ultraright and George Bush I've been disenchanted, to say the least. And this just about finishes him off as far as I'm concerned:

Date: 2006-12-14 08:54 pm (UTC)Some have been saying that his recent calls to up the number of troops in Iraq were a bluff, figuring Bush would read the Iraq report and start bringing troops home. Then, in '08 McCain could say, "We would have won if you listened to me." But instead, bush is thinking of sending more troops just like McCain said. If that goes bad, you can forget about a McCain presidency ever happening.
